Bitfocus Buttons Control Platform Overview | ISE 2026
We were at ISE 2026 in Barcelona at the Bitfocus booth with Erland to talk about Buttons and why it was a major step beyond Companion for larger, more structured control workflows.
Bitfocus built control software that let teams run everything from Stream Deck and Stream Deck Studio, replacing a lot of proprietary control hardware. In this walkthrough we covered how Buttons expanded into broadcast-style control with routing, user management, queue lists, tie lines, and automation tools that helped make setups more maintainable.
A big theme was centralization. Instead of managing multiple Companion servers across a facility, Buttons focused on a central server approach with options like high availability and permissions, so users only controlled what they were supposed to control.
Bitfocus also talked about their large module ecosystem and how community development helped expand device support. Want to learn more or spec it into a workflow? Contact JB&A.
