Lumens Digital Optics Inc., a Pegatron Group company, is a leader in optical products. Lumens’ product offerings include portable document cameras, desktop document cameras, a ceiling document camera, HD PTZ cameras, and projection engines.
We were at ISE 2026 in Barcelona inside the Lumens booth to see what was new in voice tracking, auto switching, and open AV over IP workflows.
Lumens CamConnect was highlighted as the foundation of their voice tracking approach, using directional microphone data to trigger camera shots on the active speaker. We also saw multi-camera automation with the VC-TR60A, where AI cameras worked together with an AI box to automatically switch to the best angle for a clean program feed.
On the IP side, Lumens showed flexible options like NDI video with Dante audio, plus USB-C BYOM and BYOD workflows aimed at simplifying the laptop connection for Teams or Zoom. We also heard about an LC100A update that added built-in annotation for use cases like courtrooms and training spaces.
