Lumens Digital Optics Inc., a Pegatron Group company, is a leader in optical products. Lumens’ product offerings include portable document cameras, desktop document cameras, a ceiling document camera, HD PTZ cameras, and projection engines.
At InfoComm 2026, Lumens showcases a range of solutions designed to simplify AV operations through centralized control, automated lecture capture, and AI-powered camera tracking. We meet up with Chester Lee from Lumens to explore how the company is helping organizations streamline complex workflows while reducing the need for manual intervention.
A key focus is simplifying control across networked AV environments. Lumens introduces the new N60C and N60D controllers, which support Dante, NDI, and RTSP workflows, enabling users to manage both audio and video sources from a single interface. The N60D adds simultaneous control of NDI video and Dante audio, while a new touchscreen control panel provides intuitive system management without relying on browser-based interfaces. Together, these solutions make it easier to monitor and control modern AV systems from a centralized location.
Lumens also continues to expand its lecture capture capabilities, addressing the growing demand for recorded and hybrid learning experiences. Its stage-tracking technology automatically follows presenters as they move throughout classrooms, auditoriums, and event spaces, helping maintain professional framing without a dedicated camera operator. The platform also supports content recording, editing, and publishing, creating a streamlined workflow for on-demand content creation.
Artificial intelligence plays an increasingly important role in Lumens’ tracking solutions. The CamConnect 200 uses AI-powered multi-camera tracking and switching to automatically identify active speakers and select the most appropriate camera angle. Features such as picture-in-picture monitoring and microphone zone visualization give operators greater visibility into the system while reducing operational complexity.
Lumens further extends automated tracking with its TR60A cameras, which feature built-in microphone arrays that detect and track active speakers. Intelligent camera switching helps ensure the correct speaker remains in focus as discussions move between participants, improving the viewing experience for both in-person and remote audiences.
